PHILADELPHIA - La Salle senior Yves Mekongo will miss two to four weeks after fracturing the pinky finger on his left hand during practice on Monday. He had surgery on Friday to repair the fracture.

Mekongo is third on the team in scoring (11.4 ppg.) and rebounding (5.5 rpg.) The recent academic all-district pick scored his 1,000th point on Saturday versus Saint Louis.

He is the third La Salle senior to miss time this season joining Kimmani Barrett and Ruben Guillandeaux. The trio has combined for 2,839 points in their careers.
