MYRTLE BEACH, SC - The La Salle golf team dropped a rain-shortened match by four strokes to Fairfield on Thursday in Myrtle Beach, SC. The Stags shot a four-hole, four-man total of 50, while the Explorers carded a team score of 54.

The first group out played six holes before the thunderstorms forced the teams into the clubhouse. Sophomore Randy Kurzinsky was the lowest scoring LU player, followed by Tyler Batory, Ed Carnes and Joe Taormina.

Weather permitting, the Explorers till take on Saint Anselm on Friday.
