PHILADELPHIA - La Salle dropped a 5-0 match to Atlantic 10 rival Richmond on Thursday at the Arthur Ashe Tennis Center. The Spiders took all five singles matches while doubles competition was not completed.

"We played hard today but Richmond showed us how tough the Atlantic 10 is," assistant coach Ed Colfer, Sr. said. "We're going to try to get back on a winning streak on Saturday."

The Explorers, which had won five straight, fell to 9-3 and visits Lafayette on Saturday. Richmond improves to 5-8.
