March 8, 2010

PHILADELPHIA - The members of the La Salle women's cross country team put together a cumulative team grade point average of 3.32 to be named an All-Academic Team by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches' Assocation (USTFCCCA). The Explorers were one of six Atlantic 10 squads to earn recognition, along with Charlotte, Dayton, Fordham, Richmond and Xavier.

The 2009-10 cross country squad includes nine runners who earned Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll status for posting at least a 3.5 during the fall semester, including Pamela Alva, Stephanie Bearish, Maureen Benner, Kellilyn Fierras, Wendy Hutchinson, Meghan Lutz, Kelly Mullane, Colleen O'Donnell and Bridget Tull.
