PHILADELPHIA- Following a 10 point performance through two games on the lacrosse field last week, redshirt senior Jill Davis has been selected as this week's Student-Athlete of the Week by the Office of Athletic Communications.

Davis helped the Explorers be the only team in the Atlantic 10 Conference to go 2-0 last week by scoring six goals and dishing out four assists. In games against Presbyterian and Lafayette, Davis had identical stat lines, registering three goals and two assists in each contest.

Against Presbyterian, Davis was credited with the game-winning goal on a night that she threw five shots on goal. The five points she scored against Lafayette marked the second straight year in which she compiled that many against the Leopards.

Davis and the Explorers get back to work on Friday afternoon when they travel to Monmouth in hopes of keeping their current winning streak alive when they take on the Hawks at 3 p.m.
