PHILADELPHIA - Senior Rodney Green has been named to The Sporting News All-Atlantic 10 First Team, the magazine announced today. He is joined on the first team by Xavier's Jordan Crawford, Richmond's Kevin Anderson, Temple's Lavoy Allen and Massachusetts' Ricky Harris.

Green led the Explorers with an 18.5 scoring average, ranking third in the Atlantic 10. The Philadelphia native also averaged 5.1 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game in his final campaign. Green ends his career ninth on the all-time points (1,914) and assists (390) lists at La Salle. He was named to the All-A-10 Second Team in voting by the league's head coaches.

Crawford earned Player of the Year honors from The Sporting News, while Chris Mooney of Richmond earned the A-10 Coach of the Year award. Fordham's Chris Gaston was named the Freshman of the Year and Allen was named the Defensive Player of the Year.

The second team is comprised of Richmond's David Gonzalvez, Xavier's Jason Love, Rhode Island's Keith Cothran, Charlotte Shamari Spears and Dayton's Chris Wright.
