PHILADELPHIA - The La Salle women's tennis team finished up its home slate on a winning note, defeating Saint Peter's, 4-3, on Saturday afternoon. The Explorers dropped the doubles point but then took the #3 through #6 singles matches.

Freshman Elli Vamvakitis won 6-0, 7-6 (7-0) at third singles and sophomore Courtney Babo picked up a 6-4, 7-6 (9-7) victory at fourth singles.

Freshman Pearl Wilkins won 6-4, 6-1 at fifth singles and freshman Sarah Chambers won by default at #6.

The Explorers (4-16) visit Fordham tomorrow in the regular season finale. Saint Peter's falls to 2-22.
