ANNAPOLIS, MD - Sophomore Randy Kurzinsky shot a 75 (+4) on Sunday and tied for 18th as the La Salle golf team competed at the Navy Spring Invitational. Combined with a six-over 77 on Saturday, Kurzinsky finished with a two-round score of 152, just ten shots off the lead.

Sophomore Ed Carnes added an 82 on Sunday and tied for 62nd with a 78-82=160 (+18). Senior Joe Perese (89-88=177), sophomore Tyler Batory (89-91=180) and Jake Costigan (104-100=204) rounded out the Explorers scorecard.

Navy won the event by four strokes with a 286-306=592 (+24). Bucknell was second (+28), followed by Columbia (+34) and Lafayette (+35).

Ben Hayes of the Naval Academy won the individual title with a 67-75=142 (E). He edged Colubmia's Clark Granum by one stroke.

La Salle is back in action on Tuesday at the Saint Peter's Invitational.
