PHILADELPHIA - La Salle men's tennis players Jon Maula and Trevor Donovan were named the Atlantic 10 Performer and Rookie of the Week, respectively, the conference office announced on Monday. Both players went 2-0 in singles and 2-0 in doubles in La Salle's wins over Elizabethtown and Rider.

Maula collected singles wins over Etown's Josh Riehl, 6-0, 6-2, at #2 and beat Rider's Chris Esposito, 6-3, 6-0 at #3 singles. In doubles, he teamed with George Gennaoui to capture a 8-5 win at #1 doubles against Elizabethtown and a 8-2 win at #1 versus Rider.

Donovan defeated Bryan Metz of Elizabethtown, 6-2, 6-2 at #4 and Rider's Robert Olsen, 6-3, 6-4 at #5 singles. In doubles, he and Christian Harvey won 8-5 at #2 doubles versus Etown and 8-0 at #3 versus Rider.

La Salle (15-6) hosts Villanova on Wednesday at 3 PM.
