PHILADELPHIA - La Salle graduate Jill Davis was selected to participate in the 2010 IWLCA/UnderArmour North-South Senior All-Star Game. Davis declined the invitation since the contest is limited to seniors who have exhausted their eligibility. She received a medical hardship in 2009.

"This is a huge honor for Jill," head coach Candace Taglianetti said. Davis moved into fifth place all-time in goals scored at La Salle (100) after leading the Explorers with 40 goals on the season. Davis also led the squad in assists with 14. The Folsom, Pa native was previously named the A-10 Student-Athlete of the Year in women's lacrosse and earned First Team All-Atlantic 10 and First Team CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District honors.

Davis helped lead the Explorers to a program record nine wins, including five A-10 victories. The team also earned a #2 seed in the Atlantic 10 tournament, the highest in program history.

The contest, featuring the nation's top seniors, will take place at the United Sports Training Center in Dowingtown, Pa, on Saturday, June 12 at noon.
