PHILADELPHIA, PA – During the upcoming “Friends of Bill Raftery” Golf Outing taking place at North Hills Country Club on Monday, June 21, 2010, there will be one live auction item consisting of an all-inclusive trip to Cancun, Mexico during the 2010 Cancun Challenge. La Salle men’s basketball is one of eight teams competing in the three day tournament that will be played during Thanksgiving weekend. The Triple Crown Sports package features a four-night lodging stay at the Aventura Spa Palace, admission to all men’s basketball games over the course of the three day tournament, unlimited food and drink at the resort and a $300 credit per room for golf, spa and optional tours. In addition to the amenities in Cancun, two roundtrip tickets with the team are included in the package.
There will also be a raffle taking place throughout the event, headlined by a one-year membership to the Talamore Family of Clubs. Other raffle prizes include a Weber gas grill courtesy of Ambler Fireplace & Patio, and Rita’s Water Ice Party for 30. Additional prizes may be added to the list.
Other amenities offered in the Triple Crown Sports Package to Cancun, Mexico include:
- Transportation to and from the Cancun International Airport to Aventura Spa Palace
- All taxes, tips and gratuities
- Non-motorized water sports
