NEWPORT NEWS, VA - La Salle student athletes were recognized for their achievements in the classroom today by the Atlantic 10 Conference. A conference-best 111 Explorers were named to the Commissioner's Honor Roll for the Spring 2010 Semester.

Student-athletes receive a place on the honor roll by earning a 3.5 grade point average or better for the Spring 2010 semester.

"I congratulate the student-athletes who have been named to the Commissioner's Honor Roll," said commissioner Bernadette V. McGlade.

"This demonstrates their strong commitment to achieve in the classroom and on the field. Each is a great representative of their institution and the Atlantic 10 Conference."
