PHILADELPHIA - La Salle student-athletes took a break from their hectic practice schedules on Thursday to help the Class of 2014 move into the dormitories.
The student-athletes kept up a La Salle tradition of extending hospitality to new freshmen and their parents by lifting mini-fridges, boxes, televisions and many more dorm items into student rooms. Thanks to their help, move-in day progressed smoothly and efficiently so the new students could get to the fun task of decorating their first college rooms and meeting their floormates.
Following move-in, student-athletes and freshmen - along with the entire campus community - were welcomed to the quad for the annual barbeque style lunch.
