MEMPHIS - The Explorers fell in straight sets to Air Force (16-25, 8-25, 19-25) in their opening match at the Memphis Invitational.

Samantha Tulskie led the Explorers with six kills and 12 digs. Lauren Noga also contributed six kills and five digs. Caroline Kurtz of Air Force led all attackers with 12 kills and also added four service aces.

The Explorers will face Memphis and Tennessee State on Saturday in their remaining tournament games.
