Sparkill, NY - For the second week in a row, the men's tennis team didn't drop a set as it defeated St. Thomas Aquinas, 7-0.
"The team is playing well in the early part of the year," head coach Ed Colfer said. "No one lost a set and I'm really happy about that."
Colfer used the same singles lineup of one senior, two sophomores and three freshmen as in last weekend's 7-0 sweep of West Chester. Newcomer Joseph LaBate and sophomore Robert Knaster each went a perfect 6-0, 6-0 at No. 4 and No. 5 singles, respectively.
La Salle will return to its home courts Sunday morning to take on Wagner at 10:00 am.
