PHILADELPHIA - The La Salle softball program has announced its 2011 schedule, which features seven home dates including a eight-game homestand in April. The Explorers open regular season play on Saturday, March 19th when they travel to Saint Louis at 12:00 PM.

From there, the Explorers continue conference play in the month of April. They begin the month against conference foe Charlotte on Saturday, April 2. After traveling to West Long Branch, NJ, the Explorers travel to face Big East foe Villanova on Thursday, April 7. They begin a homestand of four straight opponents with cross town rival Drexel on Tuesday, April 12. Conference rival Temple Owls visit the Explorers on Saturday, April 16.

The Explorers finish up the season with a road trip to conference foe Massachusetts on Sunday, May 1. The final home series of the 2011 season is a matchup against conference foe George Washington, on May 7, which will also be Senior Day.
