Beautiful, new PPL Park in Chester, PA, home of the Philadelphia’s new Major League Soccer team, the Union, was the setting for an event attended by women’s and men’s soccer alumni, Explorer Club members, and La Salle fans on Saturday, September 25. Attendees gathered for the pregame reception in the plaza area neighboring the stadium, then proceeded into the park to witness the Union defeat Chivas USA, 3-0.

This combined event was the first of its kind with the women’s and men’s soccer teams. Coaches from both teams were in attendance to discuss their programs with their teams’ alumni and fans. Remember to support the men's and women's teams this fall at McCarthy Stadium as they enter Atlantic 10 Conference play soon.

Men’s soccer will host their alumni game on Saturday, October 2. The alumni game will be followed by a reception and La Salle vs. Temple at 1:00 pm.
