PHILADELPHIA - Junior distance runner Nick Crits has been named the La Salle Student-Athlete of the week, based on a vote by the Office of Athletic Communications.

The Ambler, Pa. native took second in the 1000m, posting an IC4A qualifying time of 2:28.31, at the Metro Coaches Invitational at the Armory in New York City on January 7th.

Crits also anchored the winning 4x800m relay, which also reached an IC4A qualifying mark (7:46.88).
