The women's basketball team will host George Washington in a 7:00 p.m. Atlantic 10 game at Tom Gola Arena on Saturday.

Senior Ashley Gale leads the Explorers into the contest with 17.6 points per game, good for fourth-best in the A-10. Her 3.1 treys per game are a conference-best. Gale is 64 points away from notching career point 1,000 while in the Blue and Gold.

La Salle is coming off an 85-51 loss at the hands of Dayton on Wednesday.

The Colonials are looking to snap a 10-game losing streak and notch their first A-10 victory on the season.  George Washington last won against Stony Brook, 69-49, on December 11, 2010.

George Washington brings a balanced scoring attack. Only one player, Tara Booker, averages double-figures (10 ppg), while Danni Jackson and Megan Nipe average 9.6 and 9.0 ppg, respectively.

This is the only women's A-10 contest that will be played on Saturday evening at La Salle.  The remainder of the Explorers' Saturday home conference games will be held at 2:00 p.m.
