Results

BOSTON - The La Salle women’s track & field team earned six top-20 finishes on the first day of the Boston University Terrier Invitational.

Chelsea Harris led the La Salle women with a ninth-place finish in the 500m dash (1:18.55). Lolita Thomas placed 21st in the same event (1:19.82).

Meghan Lutz (16:55.52) and Meghan McGlinchey (17:10.38) finished 11th and 16th, respectively, in the 5000m run.

In the 3000m, Stephanie Bearish ran a 9:54.28 to place 15th.

Tori Pisco notched a 17th place finish in the 800m with a time of 2:18.63.

In the field events, Shanice Johnson placed 18th in the long jump, with her best height 4.78m.

The Explorers will continue competition at the Terrier Invitational on Saturday.  Live results can be found here.

The men's track & field team will run at the Navy Invitational on Saturday.
