La Salle will try for its third straight victory when it visits Charlotte on Saturday evening at 7 PM at Halton Arena. Head coach Dr. John Giannini will join coaches across the country by wearing sneakers with his suit to support Coaches vs. Cancer.

La Salle is second in the A-10 in three-point field goal percentage (.391), certainly aided by freshman Sam Mills. Mills is shooting 17 for his last 29 (58.6%) from three-point range. He is second in the A-10 in three-point shooting (50.0%).

Aaric Murray is third all-time at La Salle in blocks (117) and needs four to pass Rasual Butler and move into second place all-time. He is averaging 19.5 ppg., 9.0 rpg., and 3.0 bpg. in his last two contests.

Freshman Cole Stefan is averaging 7.8 ppg. in 15.0 mpg. over his last six games and shooting 11-for-23 from three-point range (.478).

Charlotte is under first-year head coach Alan Major and comes into tonight's game riding a three-game losing streak. The 49ers are 9-11 overall and own wins over then #7 Tennessee and Georgia Tech earlier this season.

Derrio Green leads the team in scoring at 13.4 ppg., followed by Jamar Briscoe (13.1) and Chris Braswell (10.8). Charlotte is among the A-10's leaders in free throw shooting at 74.0%.
