The Explorers will travel to Hawk Hill to face Saint Joseph’s in an Atlantic 10 and Big 5 game tomorrow at 2:00 p.m.

La Salle has won three of its last four games, including an 85-84 victory over third-place Charlotte on Wednesday.  The victory secured a place in the A-10 Tournament for the Explorers.

Senior Ashley Gale, who is third in the A-10 and tied for 22nd in Division 1 in scoring with 18.9 points per game, led the Explorers in scoring for the 14th consecutive game with a game-high 29 points.

Freshman Jess Koci and sophomore Alexis Scott each chipped in 14 points.

Koci is ranked second in the A-10 in offensive rebounding, with 3.8 per game.  She is fifth in overall rebounding at 7.7 per game.

After dropping five of their first seven A-10 games, Saint Joseph’s has rebounded to win four straight to sit tied for sixth in the conference at 6-5.

In their last contest against Duquesne, a 79-73 victory, the Hawks shot a season-best .563 from the field and saw five players reach double figures.

Michelle Baker leads all Hawk scorers with 12.7 points per game. Samira Van Grinsven is second in the A-10 in blocked shots per game with 1.7.

La Salle sits 9-34 all-time against Saint Joseph’s.
