ANNAPOLIS, Md. - After the first day of competition at the NCAA Diving Zone A Meet in Annapolis, Md., junior Jordan Baker sits 38th overall after scoring a 211.80 in the one-meter dive.

Junior Laurie McLaughlin placed 42 with a score of 193.25 in the women's three-meter event at the meet. It was a tight pack and less than 10 points separated 42nd and 30th.

Competition will resume tomorrow with the men on three meter and women on one meter boards.
