The Explorer Club Fund Drive will get underway at the Blue Chip Reception, which is scheduled for Thursday, March 29 in the Hayman Center Mezzanine.

The Explorer Club has been established as the official fund development and booster organization for all men's and women's intercollegiate sports at La Salle University. Funds raised through the Explorer Club will help support the 500 student-athletes that participate in our intercollegiate athletic program. La Salle Athletics will continue to rely on the generosity of alumni and friends to enhance our current budget in a number of key areas: student athlete recruitment, academic support, publications, team travel, salary support, athletic equipment, etc.

The 2011 Fund Drive will kick off at the Spring Board of Directors Meeting on Tuesday, March 29 at 5:30 PM. The board meeting will be followed by the annual Blue Chip Reception.

During the Fund Drive, there will be a cocktail reception on Thursday, May 12 at Tree Tops Café on South Campus. The reception is open to all fund drive workers and individuals that contribute during this year's Fund Drive.
