PHILADELPHIA- Freshman softball utility player Megan Hodgson leads off the Spring "Getting to Know" series. Hodgson, a Spring City, Pa. native and a graduate of Owen J. Roberts High School is a speech pathology major. So far in her rookie season, Hodgson has started all 17 games (15 at first base, two at short stop). She leads the team with seven walks, she's tied for second with two doubles and she is ranked third on the team with a .978 fielding perecentage. In her La Salle debut, she went 2-for-3 with a run scored against Oakland at the USC Upstate Tournament. The two-hit game made her one of the first players since 1998 to have multiple hits in a La Salle Opening Day.
