NEWPORT NEWS, VA - For the second time this season, freshman Nick Ross has been named Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week, the conference announced yesterday. 

Ross broke his own personal best time in the 1,500-meter run at the Larry Ellis Friday Night Rcaes.  Ross' mark of 3:48.28 is a season best for the Explorers and is the top time recorded in the conference.  

The Greenwich, RI native is also ranked in the top 150 nationally in the event.
