Freshman Chris Costantino is in his first season on the La Salle golf team. He recorded a season-best score of 81 at the Navy Fall Classic.
Getting to Know Chris Costantino:
Why did you choose La Salle? I chose La Salle for the quality of education. It was also a privilege to be playing Division I golf.
Describe yourself in one word: Committed
What are your hobbies and interests? Singing, going to the Philadelphia Orchestra, and fishing at our house in the Northern neck of Virginia.
What is the best advice you have received? Love your golf swing more than anyone else's.
Highlight of your La Salle career thus far? Shooting 300 as a team at Swarthmore. My individual highlight is still coming.
What is your favorite golf course that you’ve played? Callawassie Island CC, a Tom Fazio design in Hilton Head, South Carolina.
Dream four-some and course? My Dad, myself, Fred Couples, Angel Cabrera, at Congressional Country Club-Blue Course.
What is your career-low round and where? 69 at Laytonsville Golf Course in Maryland
Goals for the rest of the 2011 season? Consistently shooting in the 70's the rest of the season and finishing strong at A10's.
Who influenced you to get involved with golf? My Mom and Dad
Who is your funniest teammate? Tyler Batory
Place you would most like to vist/or favorite vacation spot? Assisi, Italy
