Join us this weekend as the Baseball team is set to battle Charlotte in a thrilling match up. The team is set to play Friday at 3PM at DeVincent Field and Saturday at noon for a doubleheader.
• The first 50 fans will receive a free La Salle Athletics water bottle.
• Every foul ball returned to the press box during the series the fan will receive a free Shorti coupon, courtesy of Wawa.
• La Salle Baseball items and Men's Basketball tickets will be given away in a free raffle during the series.
• Kids have the opportunity to "Run The Bases" just like the Explorers after Friday's game.
• There will be a tailgate before Saturday's noon game; fans can take part for a nominal fee for food and beverage. RSVP if you plan to attend to Phil Telan at telanp1@lasalle.edu.
The 49ers are the only team in the A-10 to be ranked in the top-25 and are tied with Rhode Island for the top seed in the conference standings with a 15-6 A-10 record. The Explorers (25-18, 11-7) are 2.5 games behind the 49ers with six games remaining in A-10 play. Currently, La Salle is tied for third with Dayton in the standings. The top six teams will make the A-10 Championship held on the last weekend of May at Campbell's Field in Camden.
