High School: Broke the school records in the 200-free, 100-fly and 100-back... 2010 District Champion in the 50- and 100-free... Placed 6th in the 100-free 7th in the 50-free at the 2010 State Championships... Placed first in the 500-free and placed first with a meet-record time in the 50-free at the 2009 Miami Independent Schools Swimming Championship... Two-year team captain... Team MVP in 2009 and 2010... Named to 2009-10 Miami Herald All-Miami-Dade County First Team... Junior Nationals qualifier... Also swam for Miami Swimming under coach Andy de Angulo... Participated in school pep, concert and jazz bands, playing alto and baritone sax... Logged over 300 community service hours while teaching children to swim.
