Biography

2014: Played in 43 games (42 starts) for the Explorers as a junior in 2014…Tied for the team lead with five homers…Slashed .275/.365/.458…Second on the team with 31 RBI’s…Third in doubles with nine…Hit safely in nine straight games from February 23-March 14, going 14-for-32 (.438) with nine runs scored and 10 runs driven in…Went 2-for-4 with three runs scored and three RBI’s against Western Carolina (3/2)…Finished 2-for-3 with an RBI and two runs in a win over USC Upstate (3/8)…Had a six-game hitting streak (March 18-April 1), going 9-for-23 (.391)…Compiled 11 multi-hit games…Fourth on the team with 22 runs scored…Had a .988 fielding percentage (second highest among everyday players)…Also totaled five innings on the mound for the Explorers (three appearances, one start).

2013: All-Big 5 selection...served as the club's regular first baseman along with being a weekday starter...led the Explorers in doubles (13), RBI (29), slugging percentage (.468), and HBP (13)...slashed .308/.381/.468...in league play, led the A-10 in slugging percentage (.598) while ranking third in batting average (.379) and total bases (52)...registered 14 multiple-hit games and six multiple-RBI showings...tallied a team-high 15-game reached base streak...posted a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage with 15 assists and 249 putouts...tallied a 4.95 ERA in nine appearances on the hill, including seven starts...fanned 11 hitters and held opponents to a .253 batting average against clip...went 3-for-4 with a homer and four RBI vs. GW (5/16)...notched a 3-for-6 day in a 17-5 win over UMass (4/19) with three RBI and two runs...went 3-for-4 with two doubles and four RBI in a 5-3 win over  Richmond (3/29)...tossed five scoreless innings, striking out three vs. Penn (4/10)...threw three scoreless frames vs. Rider (5/14)

2012: Appeared in nine games on the hill including four starts for the Explorers...earned a win vs. Lafayette (2/28), giving up one earned run in 4.1 innings...recorded two shutout innings vs. ETSU (3/11)...struck out four hitters in 5.0 innings vs. Temple (3/21)

High School: 2011 D.C. Gatorade Player of the Year...Two-time ESPN Rise Top Player in 2010 and 2011...Washington Post All-Met Honorable Mention, First Team All-WCAC as a utility palyer and a honorable mention on the Perfect Game All-American team in 2011...Batted .384 with a team-high seven home runs his senior season...First Team All-WCAC selection as a utility player in 2010 and hit a league-best .535 in conference games...Honorable Mention on the All-WCAC at first base in 2009...Third Team All-WCAC as a RHP in 2008...Played for the Under Armor 16U National Team in the Junior Olympics...Hit 15 home runs during his prep career with 71 RBI...Only struck out 21 times in 226 high school at bats.
