La Salle University Athletics

Sal Caimano is in his eighth year as coach of La Salle's Golf team. In 2012, he led the Explorers to their best-ever finish at the Atlantic 10 Championships and lowest team score at the conference event in program history.


Caimano came to La Salle after being the JV coach and assistant coach at Holy Ghost Prep. Prior to that, he was the head coach at Villa Joseph Marie, where he established the golf team and participated on a board that created the Catholic Academies Golf League.

Caimano has improved the program, recruiting some of the area's top players and playing in several competitive golf tournaments in the region.

He is a marketing services professional and has started several successful companies in the field. He resides in Wrightstown with his wife and three children, Kate, Chris, and Rebecca.
