Morgan Oberlander returns for her second season as Graduate Assistant Coach for swimming. The Clarion University graduate was hired as the swimming and diving staff graduate assistant in August of 2014.
A four-year letter winner at Clarion, Oberlander graduated in 2013 with a degree in early childhood education and a minor in sports management. She was a 16-time PSAC finalist and a four time Scholar All-American and team captain as a senior. Oberlander will be pursuing her Masters in Education at La Salle.
"Morgan brings a great skill set to the La Salle swimming and diving program. She is always willing and able to help in many different fashions," head coach Jamie Platt said. "With this past year's experience, her knowledge and her perspective, Morgan is a great asset to the program. "
"Coaching at La Salle gives me the opportunity to pursue my passion of coaching, while furthering myself as a student and professional," Oberlander said. "I am ecstatic about working with the team and I look forward to working with athletes and helping them realize and reach their potential in and out of the classroom."
