Tina Muir is entering her second season as an assistant cross country/track and field coach at La Salle.
She enjoyed a decorated distance career at Ferris State University from 2008-12.
During her tenure as a Bulldog, Muir set PR’s in the 1500m (4:26), 5K (16:10), and 10K (33:47). She was recognized for her exceptional performance in being recognized as Ferris State’s “Bulldog of the Year” for three consecutive years. In addition, she was a 2012 NCAA Woman of the Year nominee.
Muir hails from St. Albans, UK and competed in the British Olympic trials in the 10K this summer, finishing third.
She placed in the top 10 in three different events at the NCAA Division II Championships during her Bulldog career and was named a Division II All-American in 11 different seasons.
Muir will be pursuing an MBA in La Salle’s graduate school.
