Biography
College Honors: Placed second at the 2004 Atlantic 10 Cross Country Championships, earning All-Conference honors, and helped the men win its fourth straight title...Named All-District after placing 21st at the 2004 Mid-Atlantic Region XC Championships... Named All-East after finishing seventh at the 2004 IC4A XC Championships, helping the men win the title...Was a member of the DMR team that won the 2005 A-10 Indoor Championship and finished third in the Mile, helping the men to a second-place finish...Qualified for the 2005 IC4A Indoor Mile, 3000m, and DMR... Finished ninth at the 2003 A-10 XC Championships to help the men win its third straight title and earned All-Conference honors... Finished fourth in the 5000m at the 2004 A-10 Indoors and placed third in the 5000m at the 2004 A-10 Outdoors, helping the men finish second at each... Finished 5th at the A10 Cross Country Championships earning All-Conference Honors.. Finished second man for the team with a solid 11th place at the NCAA Mid Atlantic Regional Meet earning All Mid East Regional honors and helping the men to a 4th place team finish... Was A10 Champion in the indoor mile... Also finished 5th in the 3000m and was a member of the 3rd place 4x800m relay team at the A10 Indoor Championships... Finished 4th in the 1500m and was on the Championship 4x800m relay team at the A10 Outdoor Championships winning in a stellar time of 7:31.05. College PRs: Indoor - Mile (4:11.24); 3000m (8:11.30); 5000m (14:18.83). Outdoor - 1500m (3:52.41); Steeple (9:38.84); 5000m (14:59.61). High School Honors: Received All-Conference honors all four years in XC and track...Was a two-time state medalist and captained the 2001 State XC Championship team...Also won two state medals in track...Holds the conference record in the 3200m...Won the district 1600m championship in 2002...Holds five school track records...Emerged victorious in the 100m Butterfly at the 2002 conference swimming meet.
