- Placed second at the Sam Howell Invitational in the 5K with a time of 14:28.43
- Recorded his season-best 5K time of 14:26.52 at the Larry Ellis Invitational
- Logged a fifth-place finish in the 5K at the Atlantic 10 Outdoor Championships crossing the line in 14:30.14

- Participated in four meets racing in the 3000m in all of them
- Began the season with a sixth-place finish at the Great Dane Classic with his second-best time of the season, 8:24.60
- Placed 12th at the Atlantic 10 Indoor Championships with a final time of 8:33.34
