Honored as the Atlantic 10 Diving Coach of the Year for the second straight year, Diane Maiese returns for her fourth season to direct the La Salle Explorers diving program. Prior to joining the La Salle family, Maiese served as the head diving coach at the University of Denver, while working with the Mile High Dive Club.
Since her arrival in Philadelphia, Maiese is also the head coach for Liberty Diving, a Junior National Club Team. Maiese is a member of the Professional Dive Coaches Association and United States Diving.
As a student-athlete, Maiese was a four-time NCAA All-American diver at Trenton State College and captured the NCAA Diving Championship in 1997.
A resident of Cherry Hill, New Jersey, Maiese earned her bachelor's degree in exercise science and corporate fitness in 1997 from Trenton State College.
