Head Coach Dave Stever is set to kick off his tenth season at the helm of the La Salle Women's Volleyball program. With his appointment, Stever became the eighth head volleyball coach in La Salle's history since the team began in 1973. In 2001, Stever was elected to the Pennsylvania Volleyball Coaches Association Hall of Fame.
Stever brings with him a long history of volleyball coaching, including his most recent experience as head coach at Cedar Crest College. In 2000, Stever was named the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference Coach of the Year.
Prior to his four years at Cedar Crest, Stever served as the boys' volleyball coach at Emmaus High School in the Lehigh Valley section of Lehigh County, PA. During his 14-year tenure at Emmaus, Stever led the team to 10 district championships, eight league championships and one appearance in the state final. He has coached eight All-State players as well as one Division III All-American.
Adding to his coaching resume, Stever logged five years as the women's coach at Lehigh Carbon Community College. He also founded, organized and directed the Club Lehigh Volleyball Club for boys in the Junior Olympic volleyball program as well as having coached the 16 and under Keystone Regional Championship team in 1993.
Stever is a 1969 graduate of Parsons College and a 1984 graduate of Kutztown University.
