David Pringle

Pringle is an education professional with 20 years of experience dedicated to advancing student achievement, retention, and holistic development—particularly for student-athletes navigating the dual demands of academics and competitive play. His career has centered on building equitable support systems, designing data-driven interventions, and creating environments where students can excel both in the classroom and beyond.

Working across colleges, universities, and youth development organizations, Pringle has consistently improved academic outcomes for student-athletes by providing structured advising, personalized academic plans, and targeted skill-building programs. While serving in student support roles, Pringle implemented initiatives that resulted in a 92% retention rate for underrepresented male athletes and supported sustained gains in graduation rates through mentorship, early alerts, and individualized coaching. These experiences strengthened my understanding of the unique pressures student-athletes face—from balancing time commitments to navigating eligibility requirements and preparing for life after sports.

Pringle's background in instructional technology and data analysis enables me to quickly identify learning gaps, design intervention strategies, and measure progress to ensure students remain academically competitive. He has developed workshops focused on study skills, career readiness, and personal development—resources that equip student-athletes with tools to manage academic rigor while cultivating leadership and resilience.

Beyond academics, Pringle applies a trauma-informed and student-centered approach to advising, recognizing that student-athletes often benefit from emotional support, structured guidance, and consistent accountability. Through relationship building, motivational coaching, and collaboration with coaches, faculty, and campus partners, he has helped create unified support networks that promote student-athlete well-being.

As Pringle returns to education and human services, he is committed to leveraging his experience to strengthen student-athlete success pipelines—ensuring they are supported academically, prepared professionally, and empowered personally throughout their collegiate journey.
