Mark Williams has been named GoExplorers.com Student-Athlete of the Week for May 20. Williams pummelled the George Washington pitching staff over the weekend, stroking four hits including a triple and a homer. The sophomore finished the year with a club lead in seven offensive categories.

Williams leads the Blue and Gold into the Atlantic 10 playoffs this week as one of the conference's most prolific offensive players. The Vienna, Va. native batted .379 in conference play along with an A-10 lead in doubles (10), triples (3), and slugging percentage (.598).
