Senior forward Mariel Papa has been named this week's La Salle Student-Athlete of the Week. Papa led the Explorers with three goals in a 1-1 week, needing just five attempted shots to get three goals. She scored the third and fourth goals on Sunday in a 4-2 win over Lehigh to help move the squad to a perfect 3-0 record at DeVincent Field this season. She added another score in a 3-2 setback at Penn last Wednesday. Papa is now tied for the team lead with seven goals on the season and is tied for third in the Atlantic 10 in total goals.
