Leeza Burdgess has been selected this week's Student-Athlete of the Week, following back-to-back double-doubles to lead the women's basketball squad at Dartmouth's Blue Sky Classic over the weekend.

Burdgess scored 12 points and pulled down 10 rebounds in the Explorers' 54-43 win over host Dartmouth on Sunday. She then exploded for a career-best 19 rebounds along with 14 points in the squad's heartbreaking 57-56 loss to Binghamton in the championship game. Her 19 rebounds bettered her previous career high of 16, set two years ago when she played at Pittsburgh.

She was named to the Blue Sky Classic All-Tournament Team.

Burdgess and the rest of the Explorers return to action on Thursday, opening up the Atlantic 10 schedule at Rhode Island at 2 p.m.
