Sophomore midfielder Devin Muracco has been named this week's La Salle Student-Athlete of the Week after a three-point performance to lead field hockey to its third straight win on Friday. Muracco scored the game-winning goal and assisted on the insurance goal to lead the Explorers to a 2-1 win over Davidson in the Atlantic 10 opener. Muracco earned her first start of the season against Davidson after being limited early due to a preseason injury, and is now tied for team lead in scoring on the season. She has helped the offense gel, as the team has scored seven goals in the last three games, compared to just one total in the first three.
