Redshirt senior guard Alicia Cropper has been named this week's Philadelphia Big 5 Player of the Week, announced Monday. This marks the second straight week that an Explorer has taken home the honor, as Micahya Owens earned it last week.

Cropper was pivotal in the Explorers' two wins this week which helped extend the squad's current win streak to six. She averaged 21.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.0 steals per game in wins over Robert Morris and William & Mary. She sank a game-high 22 points, 18 on six three-pointers, to propel the Explorers to a 75-61 win at NEC-favorite Robert Morris. She followed up with a game-high 20 points over William & Mary, 17 of which came in an explosive second half that saw the squad rally from 14-down at halftime to defeat the Tribe 78-71.

Cropper is leading the team with 16.0 ppg, while adding 4.2 rpg and 3.2 apg. The Preseason Atlantic 10 Second Team pick has sizzled beyond the arc, hitting 55.6 percent of her three-point shots so far this year.

Cropper and the rest of the Explorers are off for finals week, and will return to action on Sunday (Dec. 14) looking for their seventh straight with a Big 5 tilt at Villanova at 7:30 pm.
