Alicia Cropper has been named the La Salle Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending Jan. 4. The redshirt senior guard averaged 17.0 ppg and 4.5 rpg in a 2-0 week for the women's basketball squad, which included a win in the Atlantic 10 opener. She poured in a game-high 19 points with four three-pointers in the A-10 opening win at Davidson on Sunday, helping the squad to its fourth straight A-10 opener win. Earlier in the week, she scored 15 points and pulled down seven rebounds in Explorers' nonconference finale win over UMBC.

Cropper currently ranks fifth in the A-10 in 3-point percentage and seventh in 3-point field goals made per game.
 
La Salle wrapped up 9-4 nonconference record with win over UMBC, most number of nonconference wins since 2008-09 and best record under Jeff Williams. The Explorers finished the nonconference season with perfect 5-0 home record.
