Alanna Diffendal has been named the La Salle Student-Athlete of the Week after a breakout performance this weekend. Diffendal led the Explorers with nine points on four goals and five assists in a 1-1 weekend. She scored or assisted the first four goals in an 8-7 win over Davidson on Friday, finishing with three goals and one assist. She exploded for a career-high four assists and added one goal for a career-high five points to help the Explorers rally against league-leading UMass, while also picking up a career-high five ground balls against the Minutewomen. She also recorded two caused turnovers on the weekend.

With her nine points this weekend, Diffendal is now up to a career-best 24 points on the season including career-best 12 assists this year. With two more assists, she can crack the program's all-time top 10.
