Michelle Hagarty has been named GoExplorers.com Athlete of the Week following her performance at the Atlantic 10 Softball Championship last week. Hagarty helped lead La Salle to a fourth place finish in the championship.
 
The Boothwyn, Pa. native notched scored four runs while driving in two RBIs at the championship. Hagarty hit a two-run homer to help La Salle upend second-seeded Saint Louis in an elimination game on Thursday afternoon. She started all four games and helped La Salle win its first game at the A-10 Championship since 1996 and helped the Explorers record two wins for the first time in program history.
