Chris Sanders has been named GoExplorers.com Athlete of the Week after setting a school record in the 800m on Friday at the Larry Ellis Invite hosted by Princeton. He ran a time of 1:47.43 to break Marc Cianfrani’s school record of 1:48.43 which had been set in 1998. The time finished in third in the 77 man field and he was the second college runner across the line. The time also ranks him 17th in the nation this season in the 800m.
