Jasmine Alston was named GoExplorers.com Student-Athlete of the Week after leading the Explorers to a pair of wins in the UNCW Thanksgiving Classic over the weekend.
 
The senior recorded the fourth triple-double in college basketball this season in Saturday's win over Miami (OH) with 15 points, 18 rebounds and 12 assists. Alston averaged 13.0 points, 13.0 rebounds and 9.0 assists over the two games after going for 11 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists in win over UNCW on Sunday.
 
Alston’s 18 rebounds on Saturday were a career-high, and she tallied an 18:4 assist-to-turnover ratio through the two games.
