Justin Guerre is GoExplorers.com Athlete of the Week after he made a strong start to the season, breaking two school records in the 60m and 300m. The junior finished first over 29 other runners in the 300m, shattering the school record with a time of 35.21, which had gone uncontested since 2006. 

He also placed first in the 60m sprint, with a time of 6.89. The sprinter broke his previously held time of 6.90, which was tied with Ryan Mosely (2007) to rewrite program history.

He was named the Atlantic 10 Men's Performer of the Week for his noteworthy weekend.
