The freshman put on a show in his college debut on Saturday, finishing first in the 100 and 200 yard breaststroke events as well as the 200 yard individual medley in the Explorer's victory over Drexel.

Roth clocked a 58.78 in the 100 yard breaststroke, finishing four-hundredths of a second ahead of defending Atlantic 10 champion and teammate Blase Szyszko.

The South African registered a time of 2:06.09 in the 200 yard breaststroke, finishing nearly five seconds ahead of the second-place finisher. His time of 1:57.48 in the individual medley was good for the event crown, securing victories in all three individual events in which he competed.
